Getting Students to Campus
The Waiting Room Silence
Once Upon a Time...
I am Ananya, 20, applying for a master’s program in environmental science in Delhi. Outside the interview room, about ten of us sat quietly with our folders. Some were revising notes, some scrolling through phones, some staring at the floor.
My Inner Thoughts...
Everyone looked confident from the outside. I kept wondering if they had stronger grades, better projects, or more impressive answers prepared.
What I Realize Now...
Later I realized something simple — every person in that waiting room was carrying the same invisible anxiety. Interviews don’t just test knowledge; they reveal how we handle uncertainty while being observed. |
