The Group Discussion That Became Chaotic
Once Upon a Time...
I am Kavya, 22, economics student in Mumbai. Ten of us sat in a circle for the group discussion round. The topic appeared on the screen and within seconds everyone started speaking.
My Inner Thoughts...
Voices overlapped. Arguments jumped from one point to another. For a moment I wondered whether speaking louder was the only way to be heard.
What I Realize Now...
When I finally spoke calmly and connected different ideas together, the room became quieter. That moment showed me that leadership is sometimes less about dominating a conversation and more about giving it direction.
