Situation
Aman finished engineering from a Tier-2 college in Indore. CGPA was average. Campus placement came from a big IT services company. Fixed salary, joining letter, parents relaxed. Seniors said take it, don’t overthink. One friend from college was working in a small logistics office, not really a startup, more like ten people, messy roles. He said Aman can join, learn operations, talk to clients, do many things instead of one small task.

Everyone says first job should be safe. But I keep thinking—what if I get stuck doing same thing every day and forget how to think?
Having Said That…
He joined the small company. Work was confusing, long hours, no clear growth. Salary stayed low. Friends in IT moved to better roles faster. By normal standards, this was not a smart move. Aman also felt frustrated many days. Still, he doesn’t feel fooled. He just knows now what kind of work empties him, and what doesn’t.
