Situation
Salman finished B.Com from a small college in Lucknow. Average marks. No campus placement. After results, house felt heavy. Relatives started saying the same thing—MBA kar lo, warna atak jaoge. Coaching brochures came home. Fees numbers were big. Parents worried but nodded. A neighbour, who worked in sales, said come try, at least you will earn something. That option felt smaller, less respectable, less explainable.

Everyone says degree will give confidence. But loan, years of study, and still no guarantee - it scares me more than hearing no every day.
Having Said That…
He joined sales. First year was brutal. Targets, rejection, English-speaking clients. MBA friends now earn more, sit in AC offices, talk confidently. In weddings, comparisons happen. Salman listens. He knows customers, markets, realities. Society sees him as left behind. He sees himself standing, not sinking.
