“Civil Services Give You Identity”
Situation

Dev studied humanities in a reputed school in Delhi. Good marks. Teachers liked his answers, his English, his essays. Parents said civil services suits boys like him. Coaching centres said writing skill is a big advantage. He joined coaching. First attempt didn’t clear. Second attempt also didn’t. Feedback was vague. GS was weak. Optional didn’t score. Slowly he realised—good English alone doesn’t carry you here. It needs patience, memory, endurance. A lot more than writing.
