The deck is ready. This is already enough.

Yet I keep thinking of questions the client might ask. Not because they will — but because I want to be sharp when they do. I like the feeling of being prepared beyond expectation. It makes me feel in control, competent, slightly ahead of the room.

I prepare a few extra notes, close the laptop, and sleep. Whether I use them or not doesn’t matter anymore.
