I can run the team exactly as expected and nobody will question it.

Still, mediocrity bothers me. Not because of numbers, but because I don’t like the person I become when I allow slack everywhere. Pushing higher standards makes work harder — but it also makes me feel more alive, more honest with myself.

I set tougher expectations. Some people resist. I don’t overthink it. This is how I choose to work.
