I don’t need to do this. I have already done my bit in life.
I Am Rooting For…
Yet when they ask questions, I hear my younger self in them. Nobody is grading me here. Nobody is judging my answers. I am not expected to be perfect. I realize this is the only place where my experience feels fully useful, not filtered through job titles or hierarchies.
One Minute!
The session ends. Some say thank you, some don’t. I walk out feeling strangely lighter, like my work has travelled beyond my own career.
