I can easily skip this. Office work is already enough.

But when I don’t write for a long time, I feel like I’m only consuming and not contributing. Writing forces me to organize my thinking, question my assumptions, and stay intellectually honest. It’s strange — this unpaid writing keeps me sharper than many paid meetings.

I submit the article and forget about it. Whether it gets many readers or not doesn’t bother me much. I feel like I’ve spoken my mind somewhere that matters.
