Dependence - Question 11; You have joined a new Job and now you are facing a difficult situation and no one from your earlier cohort is available to advise you. What is your first reaction? For most of our lives, somebody was usually available like Parents. Teachers. Friends. Relatives. When we are confused, we often look around for guidance. But what happens when nobody is there?
Dependence - Option A; "I will feel very uncomfortable and wish somebody would guide me." I do not mind hard work, but I feel more confident when somebody known points me in the right direction.
What this may mean: You value support and guidance. Your confidence often increases when somebody you trust is standing beside you.
Dependence - Option B; "I may feel nervous, but I will try to figure it out." I may not know the answer immediately, but I believe I can slowly work through the situation.
What this may mean: You are beginning to trust yourself even when certainty is missing.
Dependence - Option C; "I usually enjoy solving things on my own." My first instinct is to think, explore and experiment before seeking help.
What this may mean: You may already be developing a strong sense of independence.
