Module 9.2 - Who Should I Believe AI About Cooking Oil

"Who Should I Believe AI About Cooking Oil?"

Situation; Manavi, 28, has been going to the gym regularly for almost a year. Her objective is simple - lose a few extra kilograms and remain fit. Her gym trainer advised her to stop using ghee and peanut oil and switch completely to sunflower oil for everyday cooking.

Manavi followed the advice for nearly three months. She did not notice much difference in her weight. In fact, she often felt bloated. Curious, she started reading more, asking AI different questions and comparing different viewpoints. Gradually she shifted back to using peanut oil and ghee at home.

About ten weeks later, she noticed two things. The bloating had almost disappeared. She had also lost nearly two kilograms while continuing the same exercise routine. One evening after the workout, both happened to discuss cooking fats again.

Thought 1; The gym trainer smiled. "Nutrition science is very clear. People should avoid ghee and use healthier vegetable oils.

Thought 2; Manavi replied. "Maybe. But I also realized asking more questions, comparing different explanations and observing how my own body responded. That gave me much greater confidence in deciding what works for me."

Reflection; What thinking comes closest to your own? If you were responsible for marketing an edible oil or ghee brand, what would you learn from conversations like this before planning your communication?

Mentor's Reflection; People are increasingly looking for understanding, not merely advice. Trust grows when people are helped to make informed decisions rather than simply being told what to buy.
