This learning journey has been created especially for Gen G students who come from small towns, modest colleges, limited exposure and ordinary backgrounds. If you sometimes feel that others started the race much ahead of you, this framework has been written with you in mind.

Let me begin by asking you a very simple question.

How many of you have ever felt that life has been a little unfair?

Maybe your school was average.

Maybe your college was not among the famous ones.

Maybe companies rarely visit your campus.

Maybe nobody in your family works in a big private corporate office.

Maybe your English is not as fluent as you want it to be.

Maybe when you open LinkedIn, YouTube or Instagram, it feels as if everyone else is already winning while you are still trying to understand where the race even begins.

If you have ever felt like that, then welcome aboard. You are exactly the Gen G I wanted to meet…

This, learning journey is not meant for students who already have enjoyed some early advantages in life.

It is meant for Gen G Students who in my view surely have the potential but have not yet received enough opportunities to prove it.

Let me tell you something that I have learned after working with students, entrepreneurs, managers and organizations for several decades.

The workplace is very different from college.

College rewards people who write good examinations, but the workplace rewards people who solve problems.

Evaluation Systems rewards people who remember answers, but the workplace rewards people who ask better questions.

Teacher gives marks for completing assignments, but the boss gives responsibility to people who can be trusted.

Here we are seeing these two completely different worlds.

The unfortunate part is that very few people explain this difference while you are still a student.

Many students believe that getting a degree automatically makes them professionals.

It doesn't.

A degree tells an employer what you studied or what kept you busy for many of your most critical years of life.  

Some-how there is no evaluation system (while you are still a Student) for measuring all that is important and you might possess in abundance like

It does not tell them how you think.

How you communicate.

How you work in a team.

How you respond when things go wrong.

How quickly you learn.

Whether people can depend on you.

Whether you can earn the trust of others.

Whether you can take responsibility without waiting to be told every small step.

That journey from being a Gen G Student to becoming a Gen G Professional is what this learning ecosystem is all about.

Over the next few sessions, we are not going to teach any subjects, or courses or modules or lessons.

We are going to let you discuss situations.

Real situations.

The kind that people face in life that extends to offices, factories, farms, startups, NGOs, hospitals, banks, media organizations and large companies every single day.

We will talk about why asking good questions changes careers.

Why documentation creates knowledge.

Why conversations build opportunities.

Why urgency is different from panic.

Why event management teaches leadership.

Why business development begins with trust.

Why AI should become your assistant and not your fear.

And why ordinary professional habits often matter much more than extraordinary talent.

You may notice something unusual while reading these chapters.

There are very few complicated theories.

Very little management jargon.

Very few difficult words.

That is deliberate.

Because professionalism is not a difficult language.

It is a way of thinking.

A way of behaving.

A way of solving problems.

A way of becoming someone whom people trust.

Throughout this journey, I will not ask you to compare yourself with Students from any other famous Colleges.

That comparison just does not helps.

In fact that has already been hugely detrimental to your evolving into a fine gentleman or professional.

So, We will ask you to compare yourself with the person you were yesterday.

If every week you become a little more dependable…

A little more curious…

A little more disciplined…

A little more confident…

A little more thoughtful…

Then you are already moving in the right direction.

Please remember one thing.

Your town does not decide your future.

Your college does not decide your future.

Even your first job does not decide your future.

Your habits do.

Your attitude does.

Your willingness to learn does.

And your ability to keep improving, even when life has not been fair to you, definitely does.

Do not even think for a moment that this learning journey is kind of a shortcut to success.

It is not a placement guide.

It is not another motivational program.

It is an invitation to discover yourself.

An invitation to slowly build the kind of Gen G Professional whom employers respect, colleagues trust and customers remember.

One day, you will look back and realize that the biggest transformation was not in your salary, your designation or your office.

The biggest transformation was in the way you began thinking, working and looking at the world.

That is the journey we are about to begin.

I believe Gen G Students will immediately understand why this is different from another employability course. 

It is not promising a job. 

It is inviting to transitioning from being a “Student” for over 20 YEARS to become the “Gen G Professional” whom employers genuinely want to hire, trust and grow with.
