Summary of Government Job Opportunities

This slide presents some of the major categories of government and semi-government opportunities available for agriculture graduates in India. The opportunities range from forest services and agriculture extension to research, education, warehousing, banking and insurance-linked sectors.

The numbers also indicate that while government jobs remain prestigious and stable, the overall annual intake is relatively limited compared to the very large number of agriculture graduates entering the system every year.
