Organizing a ‘Battle of the Bands’ - Inter-College
Once Upon a Time...
I am Kabeer, 22, management student in Pune. I was part of the core team hosting a Battle of the Bands with groups coming from six universities. We handled registrations, sponsorship decks, sound checks, stage schedules, crowd control, and police permissions.
My Inner Thoughts...
Halfway through rehearsals, everything felt fragile—one power cut, one angry sponsor, one delayed band could collapse the event.
What I Realize Now...
Large events don’t succeed because nothing goes wrong. They succeed because people stay calm when many things do. |
